This EN Sole Bending Testing Machine is designed for flexing soles repeatedly. It’s especially applicable for outsoles of footwear including sole constructions.
The specimen is mounted between two clamps and let the flexing axle pass through the cut on the specimen. When testing, the specimen is flexed at a specified angle for a given number, and then the length of cut growth is measured.
Use a cutting tool to piece the specimen between the cleats at three points along the line of maximum bending stress. By the specified speed and times of 90° bending action to inspect the cuts growth with a eye gauge measuring.
